gomugomunopwn | [Voice/Action]: Friends need to stop getting owned

[Well after everything that has been happening as of late, Luffy has been thinking. A lot. Well maybe not a LOT LOT cause thinking too much would give him a fever, but ya know. A moderate amount. And while he wants to get stronger to protect everyone and free everyone from this prison, he can’t seem to do that without his friends getting hurt, or beat up. He can’t possibly watch all of them all the time. And if he could, he couldn't train.

Normally what he would do is just beat up the main bad guy, but here there are a lot of main bad guys. And they can teleport away. He can't kick their asses if they do that. While a good piece of his friends are fighters, the rest just kinda aren't. Or altleast not strong enough to fight against any of the opponents that he's faced here. He flips open his journal and starts to make an entry.

Oh, Luffy is on top of Community Building 6 too by the way. No particular reason, aside from the fact that it's not a lot of stuff there and not too many buildings and all that. Luffy can't think at all with distractions.]

Anyway... if that's everyone, then the next thing needed is what everyone is good at. And, just as importantly, what everyone's vulnerabilities are. The reason for this is because by knowing, we can place people so that the strengths of one will check the weaknesses of another. Which makes the risk of our side getting hurt as small as possible.

For example, I'm a long-range fighter most valuable sniping. I'll do you more good guarding the backs of the close-range fighters from a rooftop than I will do fighting on the front line.

[Okay he barely GOT anything you first said but he gets the second part]

Usopp's like that! He's my crew's sniper!

[Oh, good! Then this was making sense!]

Yes, so you don't want him two feet away from the enemy; twenty feet or fifty feet is better for him, right?

[Nod nod]

Yeah! A sniper isn't any good if he's up close. [--wait... OOOOHHH]

Oh, I think I get it now! This'll be easy if that's all you need to know!

That's what we're going to do with everyone: figure out where everyone needs to be to fight at their best, and how we can work together to keep each other safe.

So: how do you fight?

I just use my fists to fight!

Close-range then. Can you be more specific? How fast do you run? Can you dodge well? How strong is your punch?

I think I run pretty fast... And I can usually dodge stuff.

[A grin will come across his face with that last question] They're really strong!

People I can't hit I guess.

"People you can't hit" is a little vague. What kinds of people are those?

Well he's made of smoke so I can't hit him. Guys like him I can't fight yet.

Okay. I have a better idea. You can show me later. And I'll talk with your friends about their skills. Step three: how many people are we protecting?

[Let's see Nami, Miyabi, Stitch, Meryl, Kirimi... Maybe he should throw San in there too but nah, Moro'd hate if he did. Soooo four maybe?]

Uuuh, about five I guess? But can we make sure other people don't get hurt too?
