[The sound of Luffy’s voice echoing through the air is the only warning anyone within the general vicinity of the plaza will get before the body of a certain awakenedchaos goes whistling pass and slamming hard into the plaza’s fountain. She isn’t dead, but she is knocked unconscious, and is in need of medical attention. If anyone were to examine her body they would find that she hasn’t taken many blows, but the few that did manage to land on her hit hard. So hard in fact that a few of her ribs were inevitably broken from the impact.

Looking for the attacker will only prove to be futile though. One quick Jet Missile was all he needed to near instantly launch himself out of the area.]

[A few minutes later he’ll make a journal entry about the whole thing. He’s not bothering to filter this straight to Yuber since he’s pretty sure most people know he did it by now anyway. He takes in a deeeeeeep breathe before speaking. Better cover your ears Luceti, this is going to be loud.]

Strawhats, you might have a Luffy climbing through the window all casual like. The door is too slow. And not stealthy enough obviously. He gained some injuries himself during the fight. Mostly a ton of cuts and bruises all over his body. Nothing really life threatening. Well not life threatening by Shonen standards at least.]

[Robert had just been minding his own business, walking home to Community Building Three after the impromptu encounter with Megamind, when suddenly - Murakumo unit that he just barely recognizes from one conversation flying through the air and impacting heavily with the fountain.

He has no idea what happened. There's no visible attacker in the vicinity, just the echoes of a yell from a voice he doesn't recognize. He doesn't know what motivated this attack, doesn't know any of the reasons behind it, and barely knows the people involved.

All he knows is that there's a sapient in trouble. And that's enough to trigger his righteous ethical anger.

He hurries up to the fountain as quickly as possible for his weak, untrained body - not very quickly, but he's probably one of the first people on the scene - and it helps that he isn't afraid of Nu, because he doesn't know the destruction she's capable of. Nor is he aware, yet, of her association with Yuber. He just sees that she's obviously injured. His voice is terse, cold; a little detached almost.]

Nu. If you can speak, tell me where you have been damaged. [He's scanning her body for injuries, but that armour - foreign, skin-tight over most of her frame - is preventing him from picking any out, and he's no medical expert to begin with. Still, her face has several angry, dark bruises under the angular visor, and the way she flew was suggestive of some kind of intense blunt force trauma. That could definitely lead to internal hemorrhaghing and broken bones.

Robert glances around, setting his jaw grimly. He's got half a mind to call Ami or Litchi for help... if they aren't already arriving on the scene.] Stay calm, Nu. We will get you assistance.

[Sorry, Robert, but you're not going to get a reply just yet. Unfortunately, that attack combined with being sent flying into the fountain like that seems to have been more than enough to knock even her out cold. The silver-haired Murakumo's breathing, at least (even if it's very labored), but it's pretty clear she's not quite conscious at the moment.

Nonetheless, a few moments after he speaks that last sentence, she does move just slightly - a small sign that she's already starting to regain consciousness, somewhat faster than one might expect someone like her to. She's still in bad shape, of course, but it's a minor improvement.

Frankly, he's surprised that this hadn't happened sooner, but there was no doubt in his mind this was going to happen, consequences be damned, and this was only going to be the start. Nu isn't the only one involved, as he well knows, and if Strawhat doesn't draw Yuber out through this, then well he'll just chose different means to get at the demon.

Monkey D. Luffy is Captain of the Strawhat Pirates, and this little village does not know much at all. They do not know the codes binding nakama, or a Captain's obligations and duties to crew. They do not know the typical way that pirates respond in their world to things like this, and since Nu did not die a horribly messy death or was broken enough that any doctor would declare that she was beyond any true healing (he is listening to all of this)... then mercy was shown here.

These people do not know of Sabaody or Impel Down or Marineford. There was really no stopping this. Strawhat did not care for the consequences there - not Admirals, not unbreakable prisons, not wars in which he'd just be an ant tossed in a storm - all he cares for is his friends and his nakama. All else be damned.

That this hasn't happened sooner is just a sign of unusual restraint.

He knows that this is not the end of it. He knows there is likely going to be retaliation. He knows others are likely going to be drawn in it. Some will be hurt. Some will be killed if this goes on. That this could be the start of a little war.

But there comes comes a point where doing nothing is just submitting to the abuse and not avoiding trouble. There comes a time to make a stand, because the alternative is worse.

(He will not interfere beyond how he already has. This is Strawhat business, and a pirate's pride and a Captain's pride is not something taken lightly. This is Strawhat's right and something he has no business in unless asked. This is about nakama.

Honor and yes, respect, dictates no less.

But by that same measure, he has interfered already. He killed one of Yuber's monsters. He saved Nami's life alongside Katara. Yuber's monster attacked his medical tent however briefly. He faced the draft wondering if he would face another attack.

So he will watch very carefully at the least... he is already involved, like it or not.)
