[The yelling over the journals was more than enough to catch Litchi's attention. The crashing from out in the plaza was even more so. She was headed out to see what was going on and what she could do anyhow, but seeing Yuber advancing on Robert, swords drawn, sparks her into action faster than anything.
She may not be the fastest sprinter, but Litchi still darts over, making sure to give Yuber enough space so that she herself doesn't get stabbed just for approaching from a blind spot, and slides to a stop between the scientist and the demon.
A quick glance over her shoulder tells her all the backstory she needs: Nu is injured, Yuber is furious, and Robert needs to run. She's sure he means best, but he's in way over his head.
