[Hey guys! Today happens to be a very special day for Luffy! It’s his birthday, and instead of Luffy getting a plain old boring cake like he usually does, he wants to get something a little… different this year. But to do it, he’s going to need a loooot of meat. And I mean a lot. So the first place he starts is at the Item Shop so he can get some big brown anime like bags to store items in! And the first place he’s going to go with these items?!

The meat shop! Or, well. The grocery store rather. And there he is going to be gathering a large amount of meat, stuffing as much as he can into one of his bags, cleaning out a majority of the place’s meat supply. Don’t worry, they can just respawn later, it’ll be cool! Anyway, once he leaves he’ll look into his bags at all the meat he managed to gather and decides that still isn’t going to be enough. He wasn’t planning to do Phase 3 unless he really had to, but he doesn’t have much of a choice at this point.

SO LUCETI! Luffy is sneaking around the village, gathering all the meat he can by any means necessary! Or die tryin’. Are you at a restaurant getting ready to eat a large meat filled meal? Sitting at a bench about to eat a burger? Or maybe the window to your house/apartment is open somehow, and you decided to have a quick meal or snack. Regardless of what you’re trying to eat, you can expect a stretched rubbery hand to sneak up on you and snatch the meat from your plate or hand before you have the chance to bite it. Afterwards he’ll stuff it into his bag!

Later, after he’s done with his meat gathering he’s going to start pulling a red wagon full of heavy bags that are full of meat! Feel free to notice him at any point of the day!]

Guys! I got this reeeeeally big project that I’ve been working hard on all day. Today’s my birthday, but instead of having a plain dumb ol’ cake like I do every year I want to make something that’s gonna be so much cooler! I want to make a giant meatcake! It’s gonna have mashed potatoes for frosting and meat filling [Obv.] and a lot of other stuff!

I can’t really cook though so I’m gonna need help if I wanna make it. I want it to be HUGE! As big as a house! [Okay, maybe that’s an exaggeration but you get it. He also… wouldn’t argue if someone agreed to do that.] Are there any chefs out there who would be willing to make something like that?

[He would ask Sanji but he and Nami JUST got back from a mission. He’d really not bother him if he could avoid it.]

[Only a madman would enter Sanji's kitchen with the intent to steal food. That is what Miyabi's thought process is as she prepares a bit of a light lunch for herself there. She's just about to get started working, picking up a large tray of plates, all filled with tasty meals - soups, salads, entres, and one lone dessert. It's getting pretty busy now, so she has to keep a level head.

Ah, but she forgot something! Oops, perhaps the bustle is getting to her after all. Thank goodness she remembered before the plate went out though. Hum de dum, turning her back on the tray of foodstuffs now, yupyup.]

[PERFECT OPPORTUNITY!

Don't mind him at all Miyabi. You don't see that stretched hand slowly going over to that tray of food you turned your back on. And you also don't see it pulling it back to where Luffy is. But what am I saying of course you don't you got your back turned! FUFUFUFUFUFUFUFU]

[...What is this strange, sudden, overwhelming urge that she needs to kick something? Oh well, best to just ignore it.

Miyabi turns around, only to notice that the entire tray of food she left is god. A-BUH WHA--?! Did someone else take it out? I-It wasn't finished yet! And that was a tray for the tables she was working on! She hums to herself, brows knitting together, and begins to look around. What in the world just... The person couldn't have gotten far, maybe she can catch them real quick and stop them before they go out! Yes, that's a good ide--

...Ah. Luffy.]

[Boy, you in trouble.

She hurries over (in hopes of salvaging anything on that tray), and crosses her arms over her chest. You may be taller than she is right now, but maaan, she can at least glare up at her friend like a volatile baby dragon.]

Luffy. [Give. B|]

[Well he hasn't eaten ALL the stuff that's on the tray. Just MOST of it!]

Ah, Miyabi! Sorry about the tray, but mind if I borrow it? I was getting hungry from all the meat collecting, and this really hit the spot! [munchmunchmunchmunch.]

[Exactly. Most of it, which had to have been out and to the customers a few minutes ago. Miyabi sighs, reaches up, grabs Luffy's nose, and pulls on it as far as she can before letting it go very suddenly--snap!]

I mind. [But she won't tell Sanji. She's not about to kill the poor guy.] Luffy, that wasn't yours, if you wanted to eat, I could have given you leftovers! Those were meant for the customers, and now they'll have to be remade!

[...]

Meat...collecting?

Ow!

[It suddenly snapping back into place like that causes his head to be knocked back slightly from the impact. He rubs his nose a little before talking.]

But all the food just... restocks doesn't it? Can't you just get some more and put that on the tray instead? [Gawd Miyabi, he's trying to be LOGICAL here geez.]

And yeah, meat collecting! I need to gather all the meat I can so I can make this huuuuuge meatcake I have planned.

That's not an excuse for stealing, Luffy. Customers are waiting for their meals, and they want the very best. You'd be mad if you had to wait extra long for your food if you were hungry, wouldn't you? [Luffy, your logic sucks, and thus Miyabi's going to combat it with her own, good logic. She's also going to be grabbing the nearest chef's attention and letting them know to prepare those same dishes again.]

...Meat...c-cake? [That sounds horrendous, especially for a vegetarian like her.] What do you need something like that for?

Well yeah. But that's why I bring meat from the store when I come here so I can eat while I wait! [He thought this was just common sense, COME ON PEOPLE.]

[His logic is FINE alright. FINE!]

I'm trying to make it for my birthday!

[Okay, you know what? Miyabi's not even going to push this argument any further. Because arguing with Luffy is just a bad idea, and will result in a headache. She sighs heavily and rubs her face with a hand before blinking and looking up suddenly.

Wait, what--] It's your birthday? Today?!

[Why was she not informed? B\]

YUP! And if I guessed right...

[And he counts a few times on his fingers to make sure.]

I'm twenty-three today!

Ah, you should have told me sooner! Happy birthday, Puffy! [Now she can't ~~get or stay mad at you~~ prepare anything.] I didn't get you anything yet, though. Mm...but maybe I can get you some meat ends, we usually don't serve those...

What else do you like? Other than food, I mean. I can make you something, but I don't know what...

Haha, but you don't have to get me anything, it's fine!

Oh, actually though. You know what I've always really wanted? One of those ship in a bottle things! [YEAH LUFFY WITH AN EXTREMELY FRAGILE ITEM. SEEMS LEGIT.]

Oh, I think I know what you're talking about! ...But I don't want to just get you something you'll expect. [And break into a million pieces. Hm, but if she made it into a particular ship, then--] Mm, I might be able to think of something, though! I'll make it really special! It may take a little while, though, since I didn't have time to prepare...

[Huff.]

Take a while? Hmm. But can't you just draw one, and have it pop out like some of your other art does?

[asjdkvhd--DAMNIT, LUFFY. Miyabi turns bright red in a matter of seconds, and smiles in embarrassment, looking down and away. Ugh, ugh, she can deal with compliments better, but when they're so sudden like that...!!]

They don't really--...all right. I'll paint you something first, then try and make one of those bottled ships as a later gift. Is that all right? Would you like the first gift as a wall scroll? You can hang it up that way!

Hmm...

And it can be anything you can draw right? Will it come to life? [Because that'd be coolio.]

...Luffy, you know I can't make my paintings really come alive. [As awesome as that would be, indeed.] I can only have it so my sword's ink changes when I fight with the celestial brush skills.

But I can try to make the painting as lifelike as I can. It'll be really hard, s-since I'm really not good enough to do something as skillful as that, but I will try my best for your birthday present.

Well alright, that seems like the next best thing! And stop worrying, I bet it'll come out fine! You're a great artist, so something like this shouldn't be a problem.

[Luffy, you are too cute. And you make it impossible to stay mad at you. Pirate. With a sheepish smile and laugh (and a whole lot of blushing), Miyabi nods.]

All right, all right... I'll try to have it done as soon as I can. I'll even start working once I leave here, okay?

Haha, alright! Sounds good to me! I'm sure it'll be done in no time though.

[And then he's going to stretch his hand to a few more places to grab some extra meat.]

Anyway, thanks a lot Miyabi! I appreciate everything! [Yeeeah, he's about to leave with all that food he just took.]

[...Luffy, no. 8| Miyabi narrows her eyes and very calmly walks alongside her friend before putting a hand on that platter there and plucks it right out of his hands. Sorry, but no freebies at this restaurant.]
