[You hear that sound? That's the sound of two fists slamming into the barrier at insanely high speeds over and over again. In a way, he knows he can't break the barrier right now. He's not strong enough to. But he has to at least try. The Malnosso have just been taking his friends and bringing them back whenever they feel like it, and he can't take it anymore. [Usopp gives serious thought to attempting the reason route. Then again. If Luffy doesn't listen to reason on most good days, what good will it do now? Plus there's no time for long debates about why it's good logic when he's noticing exactly how filthy the non-embedded-in-the-wall bronze elephant is getting. He'll wait for one of those breathing intervals to come up, anyway.]
