[You hear that sound? That's the sound of two fists slamming into the barrier at insanely high speeds over and over again. In a way, he knows he can't break the barrier right now. He's not strong enough to. But he has to at least try. The Malnosso have just been taking his friends and bringing them back whenever they feel like it, and he can't take it anymore. So be prepared to endure this sound if your journal is open, because it'll be going on for about 20 minutes. There might be brief intervals for him to catch his breath, but soon afterwards it'll start again. Any attempts at reasoning will be ignored at this time.

After he's too warn out to go on, Luffy just collapses onto the ground, panting heavily. He might need a while before he can get up again, sadly. =(]

Did you ever truly 'let' them to begin with? If there had been any way of stopping the Malnosso, I know you would have done so! Likewise, if there is a way to stop them in the future, or to make them bring Zoro-san and Chopper-san back, I'm positive you'll find a way.

Unless you continue pushing yourself in this manner, of course. It does none of us any good to see you like this, and from the sounds of things it isn't having much effect on the barrier either.

Most likely - I'll admit it has me curious, however. Perhaps it just needs to be re-thought. [That is a hint, Luffy. He knows as well as anyone that they can't just sit back and do nothing, even if all of their attempts are useless.]

Yohohoho, I remember! It took about five days when I travelled out there with Vash-san and Meryl-san! If I ran the whole way, however, I would make much better time!
