JET GATLING GUN!!!

[You hear that sound? That's the sound of two fists slamming into the barrier at insanely high speeds over and over again. In a way, he knows he can't break the barrier right now. He's not strong enough to. But he has to at least try. The Malnosso have just been taking his friends and bringing them back whenever they feel like it, and he can't take it anymore. So be prepared to endure this sound if your journal is open, because it'll be going on for about 20 minutes. There might be brief intervals for him to catch his breath, but soon afterwards it'll start again. Any attempts at reasoning will be ignored at this time.

After he's too warn out to go on, Luffy just collapses onto the ground, panting heavily. He might need a while before he can get up again, sadly. =(]

[Uh-oh, you blew it now, Luffy.]

For the last time, I am NOT a clown! I am a mage of insurmountable skill and prowess! I am a spell weaver, not a simple alley-rat using sleight of hand to turn a gil or two.

[He's floating up over your head now, in a rather threatening pose, a fireball in each hand.]

I said magician too.

A magician is a two-bit hack that couldn't perform a true spell if their life depended on it.

A mage wields the forces of nature as if it were a part of themselves!

[His smirk returns though a second later, as the fireballs vanish.]

But perhaps, you require a demonstration~!

[Kefka points a long finger at Luffy.] ZAPPO~! [And cue some lightning bolts striking the ground around Luffy, and moving to converge on his spot.]

[Well the attack hits him dead on, but it doesn't do any damage to the boy. His clothes might be fried a little, but since he's a rubberman, lightning has no effect on him]

Heh. That was pretty dangerous. [He slams his fist into his open palm and cracks his knuckles]

I agreed not to fight you, but since you attacked first, I'm gonna kick your ass. Clown.

[Finally, someone he can test his limits against.]

That was just a warm up kid. You're out of your league here. You have no idea just who you're dealing with!

[And, as he finishes speaking, a handful of large triangles made completely of light, and blazing hot at that, start to materialize around you, shooting several smaller triangles at ya. Have fun with his Trine spell.]

[Well this guy is dangerous so Luffy's gonna have to go all out. Quickly he uses his ankles as pumps to pump huge amounts of blood through his body faster. As his body heats up, steam starts to rise from it]

Gear Second. [His movements are extremely quick in this form, so he manages to dodge most of the triangles, but some still manage to get him. If there's an opening out between the large triangles he'll probably be jumping through that. If not, then the most he can do is try to dodge.]

[Kefka's impressed, but not surprised. As Luffy escapes one spell, he does a backflip, readying another spell that actually utilizes his wings as well as conjuring a couple more wings at that. The wings become aerodynamic with each feather straightening to a point, almost like an avian porcupine.]

Don't mess with me! [Is all he says as the wings shoot out, seeking to slam into Luffy's face.]

Gomu Gomu no!!!

[He's going to jump up to avoid those, but a few might nip him a bit.]

JET PISTOL!!! [He sends a stretched fist at Kefka, but it's moving very fast. To the point of being a blur.]

[The funny thing about the ones that nip at him? There's no pain involved, no injury, no damage. The reason becomes quite clear when the fist passes straight through Kefka's face as if it hit air. Frankly, it did. The spells were real, yes, but only because he was casting from a safely hidden location. The rest was smoke and mirrors. After the punch, the illusion vanishes, leaving only Kefka's cackle echoing everywhere around you.]

[Kefka you clever son of a bitch]

Where the hell'd you go!?

[He lands on the ground but doesn't see any sign of Kefka]

[Kefka's voice is still laughing tauntingly at you Luffy.]

Careful mister rubber man~! Stretch yourself too thin, and you might snap~!

[And Kefka's laughter echos with renewed vigor.]

GET OUT HERE SO I CAN KICK YOUR ASS!

[Dammit where can he beeeeee? D=]

[And, for once, Kefka's actually going to oblige. But, he is going to be using a favored combination of spells when he does. Namely, Vanish, and Float. Effectively making his movements silent, and invisible. And he has a foot flying at the small of your back now.]

[Luffy has some pretty top notch instincts and reflexes, so while he doesn't really notice he's going to get attacked until about the last split second, that's enough time in Gear Second for him to twist the upper part of his body around and try to swing his fist into whatever the hell is trying to hit him. He has to take the kick though.]

[Touche, mister captain. Kefka has to arch WAAAAY back to avoid that fist, and it does graze his face, but, Kefka is going to use your rubbery back as a spring board to launch himself into the sunset. You've managed to give him a chronic back ache, Luffy. Kefka curses you for this.]

[What, you dodged it!? Damn yooouuu Kefka!! Luffy in hales deeply so he'll have enough wind to say all this.]

[He's sending blurred punch after blurred punch at you Kefka. Guess who's trying to knock you out of the sky?]

[This time, Kefka truly has left the area. He got an idea of just what Luffy was capable of, found that Luffy didn't like him, and got an idea of his innate weaknesses and resistances. All in all, it was a very enlightening exchange. He didn't need anything else out of Luffy for the moment, and has teleported far away, though his laughter does seem to linger in the area.]

[Crap what's up with all these enemies and teleporting away!? He really has to find a way to counter that! >=(]
