[So sometime after this Luffy is going to go find his journal and camp out on a branch up in a tree for a bit so he can make an entry. The feed will be a little obscure until he’s actually able to flip the journal around the correct way.]

There we go. Oi, guys! It’s me, I’m back again! And I had the strangest time back home too. I had to fight this weird clown guy and-- ahh, I’ll tell you later! Anyway, did I miss anything? I haven’t been gone for years or something right? [And he let’s out a chuckle.] I can’t imagine how awkward that’d be...

Oh, yeah! So I need some major help with something. How do you enter into school? I want to learn this really cool thing, but I’m gonna need school to do it. I only need to know math and science though. I don’t need all that other stuff, so do I just talk to Raine, or can I walk in one day?

[And with that, he'll close the journal and wait for replies! If anyone needs him, he's going to be at the dressing room for a while so he can get his clothes back! And after that point he's going to walk back to the Strawhat house, so feel free to catch him at any point!]

[Miyabi's acytually exploring the forest for a change of pace, picking wild herbs and berries and the occasional mushroom after some very close examination. Sure she could plant her own easily, but she hasn't been in the forest for a while. It's good to feel the dirt and brush under her bare feet once in a while. She'd go for a run, too, if she wasn't doing what she was.

Hearing the voice from above makes her stop though, and she looks up. That voice was oddly familiar and maybe, possibly could have been--]

Luffy! [DROPPING EVERYTHING. And proceeding to try and climb up to where he is.] You came back!

[He could already sense her presence with Haki so he knew she was coming. That's why he just grins with a wide smile when he sees her.]

Oi, Miyabi! [He waves at her as she starts to climb up!] Of course I came back! Who was Sanji going to cook meat for?? And Nami would just yell at a wall all day if I wasn't there! [Don't even let him get started on the others!]

[Pffft--Luffy, don't make her laugh when she's climbing, damn it all, she'll fall! ...Or at least wobble on the branch she's balancing on. But with a few more swings and calculated hops, she makes it up to where Luffy is and just hugs him tight.]

Don't give Nami a reason to yell at you! ...In fact, I could do the same for when you left us. [She grins, pulling on one of his cheeks.] Did you do anything exciting? You've never told me about your travels, actually.

Hah, I don't! [Lie.] She just likes to yell at people I think!

Oh yeah, well we went to this island filled with mermaids and mer-people and got to sail under the ocean! There's also this big island where half of it is cold and the other half is hot! It's really cool, you shoulda seen it!

[l o l...not even touching that part about Nami, because Miyabi just knows better. But instead listens with fascination about the places he's been to. A place where there were mermaids and merpeople...oh, that sounds so nice. But wait--]

Eh, but...but how did you sail under the ocean?! I thought some of you couldn't swim! And...and...I-- [AIR. How did they breathe?!]

It's easy to sail under the ocean! All you have to do is coat the ship in a bubble, Miyabi!

[He's talking like this is the most obvious thing in the world.]

[...Yeah, because that make perfect sense. But she'll just roll with it after a quiet giggle. Is there anything in Luffy's world that actually makes any kind of sense?!]

Oh, I...see. And how did you put a bubble around your whole ship? Wouldn't it pop? Or float?

What? Oh, no all you gotta do is coat it with this-- ahh Miyabi. Do you know how complicated this stuff is? You can't explain it just like that.

[In other words he's not really sure how it works himself really.]

[F-Ffff...oh, Luffy. Miyabi snickers and just gives him a brief, affectionate hug. Oh, she missed you, Luffy. You and your endearing stupidity. ♥]

Too complicated for you? [She grins.] What else did you do under the ocean?

[He smiles and gives her a big hug back! And he missed you and your tiny-ness! Even though you aren't as tiny anymore.]

Uhh, I beat up this shark guy. Oh! We also went to Merman Island, did I tell you about that yet?

[Shark guy? Luffy, you would be the type of person to beat the tar out of a shark, wouldn't you? Miyabi snort, then gets comfortable on the branch, letting her legs hangs down and swing back and forth.]

Mm, you did. What are the merpeople like? I've only heard stories of them from my world. And that there's a kingdom under the sea, where they all live. But no one can ever get to it, because the entrance is so well hidden. Was that the last place you visited before coming back?

A lot of them are just like normal people. They have fins and some of 'em look weird, but things aren't too much different.

I don't think it was TOO well hidden though. It's just really tough to get there. [Like all islands filled with beautiful mermaids or something.] Nah. The last island I visited was this cool one where half of it was cold and the other half was hot! It's called Punk Hazard.

[Ooh, so they actually do have fins! So cool... That must be so amazing to go underwater like that, and get to see a whole other society there, where merpeople just live their lives. Aah, she's so jealous! Miyabi would love to be able to see the world like Luffy and his crew do. Even just the rest of Nippon.]

An island that's hot and cold? Ehehe, that sounds like Kamui when the guardian peaks erupt!
