[So sometime after this Luffy is going to go find his journal and camp out on a branch up in a tree for a bit so he can make an entry. The feed will be a little obscure until he’s actually able to flip the journal around the correct way.]

There we go. Oi, guys! It’s me, I’m back again! And I had the strangest time back home too. I had to fight this weird clown guy and-- ahh, I’ll tell you later! Anyway, did I miss anything? I haven’t been gone for years or something right? [And he let’s out a chuckle.] I can’t imagine how awkward that’d be...

Oh, yeah! So I need some major help with something. How do you enter into school? I want to learn this really cool thing, but I’m gonna need school to do it. I only need to know math and science though. I don’t need all that other stuff, so do I just talk to Raine, or can I walk in one day?

[And with that, he'll close the journal and wait for replies! If anyone needs him, he's going to be at the dressing room for a while so he can get his clothes back! And after that point he's going to walk back to the Strawhat house, so feel free to catch him at any point!]

[Ace was just, you know, casually flipping through the journal. He was bored, Marco was off doing... whatever. When he hears Luffy's voice over the journal, however, he really has to sit and listen for a few minutes.

And then replay it a few times because his brother is back, oh god, he is so happy.] L-Luffy? O-Oi, you're really back--

[Lalala~ strolling along the the village.

Then-- he double-takes. Is that.....?

...Okay, he'll need a closer look. He doesn't want to keep the sudden hope and joy he's feeling if he's wrong about this.]

What kind of Clown? [Hang on, this is important. Despite Straw Hat's usually inane babble. Plus, how many times can one man fight and semi-befriend Buggy the Clown? This is getting out of hand Straw-Hat. You two need therapy. Couples' counseling. Look into it.]

[While Luffy is walking to the Straw Hat House, SUDDENLY a blue baby fire bird falls out of a tree branch practically on top of him.]

Still no good.... [Looks around at the ground. This is all wrong you know. It should be sky. And also it definitely shouldn't hurt so much. And then the birdie looks up. Oh. Hey dude.] Oh. Hello, yoi.

Hey, Luffy! I... didn't know you went home. [And seem to be a man again. Aang has some mixed feelings about him coming home only to be brought back so soon... but Luffy seems pretty happy about the whole affair.]

You want to go to school? Awesome, we can have lots of fun there! But you have to take a test before you can get in!

Is there anything you don't want to learn? [No, seriously?]

[The video message feed turns on. It's Shirahoshi, looking rather excited! People had mentioned that you were here, Luffy, and she's been waiting patiently to see you again!]

[Miyabi's acytually exploring the forest for a change of pace, picking wild herbs and berries and the occasional mushroom after some very close examination. Sure she could plant her own easily, but she hasn't been in the forest for a while. It's good to feel the dirt and brush under her bare feet once in a while. She'd go for a run, too, if she wasn't doing what she was.

Hearing the voice from above makes her stop though, and she looks up. That voice was oddly familiar and maybe, possibly could have been--]

Luffy! [DROPPING EVERYTHING. And proceeding to try and climb up to where he is.] You came back!

[Oh mother of god, no. No, no, no--not you. Others may be glad to have you back, but Perona isn't one of them. Debt to you and your stinking crew or not, she's better off not involving herself with you people at all. SIGH.]

Mmmhrrmm...it's going to get loud again. What a ruckus you're already making, Straw Hat boy.

[Vash is sitting outside the Trigun house when he see's Luffy coming up the path.

Okay, time for a little fun.]

Hey you! You young whipper snapper! Get off my lawn! [Not that Luffy is on his yard, but Vash wouldn't be happy being turned old and not getting to say that to SOMEONE!]

Hey, you're back-- [Wait. Something stands out from the normal things that Luffy would say. It's absolutely weird and something he thought he would never hear Luffy say. Ever.

No, it's not about school.] You fought a clown?

[He doesn't care about the time--Luffy, this is too loud and the Thief wants to punch you for leaving so soon after Pops...

But, realistically, he wants to continue dozing on his monstrous squid plush.

Lupin flips on the feed without regret, intending on getting a little quiet.]

Two questions.

One: What kind of science are you looking for?

Two: Do you even have an off button???

[Whenever it is that Luffy wends his way back to House 6, he'll see Vivi sitting in the grass under the shade of a tree in the front lawn, a book on her lap. As a matter of fact, she's dozing, though lightly. It won't take much to wake her.]

[It's odd; suddenly hearing Luffy's voice doesn't elicit a surge of joy like Sanji might've expected, though he's quick to tear open his journal for a closer look. Whatever he's feeling is more a quiet sort of gratefulness - and maybe an expectation. Luffy's been a resident of Luceti for so long, it only makes sense he'd come back somehow for his crew, whether or not by his own choice.

Terrible assumption to make, that, but Sanji won't give a shit right now. He grins all the same.

... And then runs that last part through his head again. Um. Hold the phone.]

School?

[She's both relieved and not to see him again, just as she's both relieved and not to see anyone. She should have known he would return. And with the suddenness of his arrival she wonders if she took his leaving all that well. It's faintly embarrassing. Still, her voice is warm as she says:]

Welcome back, Luffy.

Luffy! You're back! [Goku's about to ask about the clown, when something else grabs his attention.]

[Well, now that she's gotten some resting done, it can't hurt to try and keep up with the journal-

... What.]

You're truly interested in attending classes, Luffy?
