[So sometime after this Luffy is going to go find his journal and camp out on a branch up in a tree for a bit so he can make an entry. The feed will be a little obscure until he’s actually able to flip the journal around the correct way.]

There we go. Oi, guys! It’s me, I’m back again! And I had the strangest time back home too. I had to fight this weird clown guy and-- ahh, I’ll tell you later! Anyway, did I miss anything? I haven’t been gone for years or something right? [And he let’s out a chuckle.] I can’t imagine how awkward that’d be...

Oh, yeah! So I need some major help with something. How do you enter into school? I want to learn this really cool thing, but I’m gonna need school to do it. I only need to know math and science though. I don’t need all that other stuff, so do I just talk to Raine, or can I walk in one day?

[And with that, he'll close the journal and wait for replies! If anyone needs him, he's going to be at the dressing room for a while so he can get his clothes back! And after that point he's going to walk back to the Strawhat house, so feel free to catch him at any point!]

[Aww, she's sleeping! Whelp, he doesn't want to wake her. but he IS curious about that book. He doesn't really care to read it, just interested in what she's reading. So a rubbery hand might be coming up to grab at it.]

[Unfortunately, she stirs slightly in her sleep as Luffy begins to make a grab for the book, and it slips off her lap to fall in the grass next to her. Does he manage to stop his momentum, or does something else get grabbed instead? :O]

[He's not going to be able to stop his momentum at all, and... whoops. Grope grope.

Pfffft... Okay he didn't mean to grab that at all. It's alright though. He's sure she probably won't even notice it as long as he stays calm and slowly pull the hand away. Yup, everything is fiiiine.]

[What was that??]

[Sure, Luffy. She barely noticed it at all. Except for the part where it instantly jars her out of her nap and her hand claps down with a steely grip on his retreating wrist.] What are you--?!

[...waitaminute.]

[Blink blink. Oh yeah. It's definitely him.]

Luffy-san? You're back?

[She doesn't let go of his wrist, but instead of whatever automatic punishment she's been about to dole out, she tugs it to urge him closer instead. Get over here so she can hug you!]

[FFFFFFFFFF-- OH! She forgot about it! Phew well that's a relief at aleast. He nods and gives her a smile.]

Yeah, I just got back today! [He doesn't ignore her tugging as he begins to walk over!] I heard I was gone a little longer this time than usual though.

[OR DID SHE.]

[...yeah, she did. For now.]

I can't believe you're back! [Though as she says it, she finds the words almost ring hollow. She's not even all that surprised to see him back. It just seemed right, that as long as his nakama were still here, Luffy would find a way back to them. She jumps to her feet, closing the distance between them and practically launching herself into a hug.]

Geez, everyone I meet say the same thing just about. Did you guys really not think I was coming back?

[The hug somewhat surprises him at first, but he'll relax into it and return it all the same!]

[She lets the hug go on for a little while before she starts to pull back to look at him.]

Well. At least we hoped you'd be able to stay where you belonged. [And that's the truth, even if a part of Vivi had still hoped he'd return to Luceti.]

[He pauses for a second and then just gives a huge grin.]

This IS where I belong. Until I can kick those bastard's asses and free my friends... this is where I belong.

[She can't help but match his grin with one of her own. It seems to make perfect sense when he states it so decisively like that.]

Then welcome back, Luffy-san!

Do any of the others know you're back yet?

I think I talked to most of them through the journals already! If I missed any of 'em, I'll just go find them in person.

[He should have talked to a good bit of them at this point at least!]

Oh, so I'm probably the last to know. [Not that it bothers her; seeing him back was a nice surprise.]

[And then she'll lean back a little further and give him a more careful once-over. He doesn't look much different from the last time he was here, but it's probably best to check...]

Are you returning from further along again? Did much time pass back home?

Nah, not a lot. It's been a few weeks or so I think. But we're finally in the New World now!

So now I can finally head straight for One Piece for real!

[She can't help but laugh at that. As if Luffy hadn't been seriously aiming for One Piece from the very start of his journey.] I think you've been doing that all along.

The New World, though...that's exciting to hear! What's it like so far?
