[So sometime after this Luffy is going to go find his journal and camp out on a branch up in a tree for a bit so he can make an entry. The feed will be a little obscure until he’s actually able to flip the journal around the correct way.]

There we go. Oi, guys! It’s me, I’m back again! And I had the strangest time back home too. I had to fight this weird clown guy and-- ahh, I’ll tell you later! Anyway, did I miss anything? I haven’t been gone for years or something right? [And he let’s out a chuckle.] I can’t imagine how awkward that’d be...

Oh, yeah! So I need some major help with something. How do you enter into school? I want to learn this really cool thing, but I’m gonna need school to do it. I only need to know math and science though. I don’t need all that other stuff, so do I just talk to Raine, or can I walk in one day?

[And with that, he'll close the journal and wait for replies! If anyone needs him, he's going to be at the dressing room for a while so he can get his clothes back! And after that point he's going to walk back to the Strawhat house, so feel free to catch him at any point!]

[He's coming out of one of the dressing rooms actually! Wrapping his sash around himself. He'll wave when he sees Ace.]

Hm? Oh! Oi, Ace!

[When Ace sees Luffy, he gives him a wave, as well as a bright smile, and walks on over to him.]

Hey, Luffy! [Don't mind your bro giving you a hug there. Man, he missed you.] Glad to see you back.

[... which is really, really selfish and he feels kinda bad for saying that.]

[He's going to give him a hug back with a huge grin and a laugh like always!]

I'm glad to be back too! I just wish I coulda remembered this place when I went back though. Next time I'll definitely make myself remember though. [He probably won't but always keep hope aliiive!]

[Okay, now Luceti feels complete again. Ace laughs along with him, breaking the hug to pat him on the back.]

I'm sure you can do it, Luffy. You don't forget important things that easily.

[... wait a second. Luffy was twenty-three before. But since he left....] Hey, if you went back, does this mean you're nineteen again? [And that he's the oldest again? :D]

HAHAHAHAHA! [And laughter ensues! He pats Ace on the back.] Nice try, Ace! But I'm still the oldest of all you guys!

Oh, come on! You went home and that means you were nineteen again! And thatmeans you're nineteen now! [Okay, so it's not a big deal to him, but teasing like this is just fun.] You know, being the oldest comes with a lot of responsibilities!

[He nods like he knows exactly what he's talking about.] I don't think you could handle that.

Saying I'm nineteen again after going home is like saying the time I spent in Luceti doesn't count. And no matter what, it still counts. I've been here almost four years, no way am I going back to being nineteen!

[Okay, okay, this seems kind of serious. So he'll hold back on the laughter.]

What kind of nightmares are they...?

[Oh boy, here we go.] Ones about... Marineford and Impel Down. [It was really traumatic for him.]

I used to have those... all the time. Of you, of the crew. [He'll pause for a second as he takes off his hat and looks at it for a minute. He remembers when Ace's Vivre Card was in here.] I don't know how you just get over them, but... they go away a while. At least they did for me.

[He feels a pang of guilt at hearing of Luffy's own nightmares, but a part of him isn't that surprised. He'd had the exact same kind as Luffy. While Luffy's hat is off, Ace pats his brother's head, rubbing it a little.]

... I'm sorry you had to, Luffy. [He wouldn't have chosen to die in front of him like that.] It takes time, but they'll stop. I've barely had any lately.

Maybe you should take your mind off things. It'll help if you're not worrying about it. [At least it usually did for him.]

It's not really like I try to think about this stuff. Hell, living with Marco and Sabo is a surefire way to keep my mind off things like that. But sometimes they just sort of... come.

[Well... he might as well come out and say it now.]

... I don't think there's a single thing I can say that's going to help you feel better about all this. [Because for him personally he doubts anything that anyone can say could help him feel all jolly about being stuck here. And Ace's situation is ten times worse.] But I can listen. If you want to talk about it...

[Even if Luffy's words are meant to be comforting, it still causes Ace to wince. He holds one of his wrists and rubs it, as though he can still feel the sea stone cuffs' mark on it. Sometimes they still hurt--

That's the kind of stuff he should tell Luffy? How could he do that? He's the older brother, he shouldn't be worrying his younger brother like this.

[Luffy gives a firm nod at that. He's not sure if anyone is home or not, but they could always use his room if anything.]

[He nods in return, and starts to head out of the shop. He's pretty silent before he says anything again.]

Sorry to do this... right after you came back, Luffy. You probably had a lot of other things to do, huh?

Hah, nah. I was just meeting up with friends and talking to the crew.

[It shouldn't take them too long to get there hopefully. And when they do he's going to close the door behind them. Thankfully no ones really there at the moment.]
