HNNN. Those bastards really don't give up do they? And they always pick the worst times to bring me back!

[Luffy was wandering through the forest for the millionth-umnphtenth time since he first got here, mumbling to himself about how much he hates 'those bastards' and how he wanted to kick Mingo's ass. Well, at the very least The Straw Hat captain took some joy in getting the chance to see some old faces again! He actually wondered who was still here and how much time has past since his last abduction. Eventually, the rubber boy comes to a stop.]

...I wonder if they changed how the village looks.

[Actually, that would be cool right? Some revamps to the structure and what not? That thought actually made him pretty excited! So, instead of just walking like a normal person, Luffy is going to use his rubber powers to literally fling himself into town. Which will inevitably cause him to crash, slam into or break whatever he comes into contact with. Whether that's a bench, or a window, or a person. And when the dust settles, he will just be lying or sitting there with his arms crossed and a disgruntled look on his face.]

EHH!? So, they really didn't change this dump at all!? [He's more concerned about aesthetics than anything else. Don't worry whatever he broke or messed up will be fine! Eventually. In some way or another.]

Oi, guys! Since people always look so bored on the journals, I've been thinking about a new journal game! It's called VERSUS! You just pick two people from Luceti you want to see fight, and other people get to choose who they think'll win! It sounds really cool right!? Yosh, I'll start it!

Goku versus...-- [Hmmmmm.] Vash!

[ooc: SO A MILLION YEARS LATER but here's my intro! Feel free to catch Luffy somewhere in the forest if you want to get him fresh out the gate and not slamming into the ground! I also welcome threadhopping for VERSUS. These discussions are srs bzn yo.]

[Dude what is with you and vegetables. First you call Goku, Carot and now your name sounds like Veggie. But besides that, there's something more important!]

P-Prince...? [Oh shiiii-- he didn't even know Saiyans had a prince what!] So you're really the strongest one then?

Of course I am! [Kind of] Clean out those ears of yours!

Now I'm going to blast you to kingdom come! Where would you like your grave to be dug.

[Fuuuu-- when he fought Goku the guy didn't even break a sweat! And this guy is the prince of ALL of them. Even Luffy isn't dumb enough to think this is a good idea. BUT HE CAN'T BACK OUT NOW! He'll look like a punk yo!!]

Hnnnn.... Near the mountains is fine. [It's cool. He just gotta stay cool is all! And try to remember all the moves Goku used when they fought. But man, it was so long ago he can barely remember the fine details... He wonders if this guy has this teleport move too.]

Have it your way then. [His journal snaps off in a hurry. He's going to change into some better clothing for the occasion, before he'll quickly fly out somewhere near the mountains to wait for the pirate.

And wait impatiently he will. With arms folded and leaning up against a tree if there's one to lean up against.]

[Luckily for Luffy his clothing is fit for any occasion! Fighting, eating, pirating! So he heads on over in his usual outfit. He might get there a little after Vegeta though since he is pretty easily distracted half the time.

He's going to approach in his usual fashion: really loud and bodacious.]

OOOI! Are you Veggie!?

[His eyes close and his teeth clench together in irritation. It's not the first or the last time he's been called that but that doesn't meant he LIKES IT.]

Shut up! Are you that idiot pirate then?!

That's me!

[He's kinda used to being called an idiot, perhaps even more so in Luceti so it doesn't phase him really. He'll start to walk over,cracking both his knuckles.]

Are you ready? I'm not going to bother holding back anything. I already know you guys are on another level from most people here.

I'm going to give you one last chance to save your own hide. [His hand creaks up and is locked out to his side, palm aiming down at the ground to a spot about twenty feet away.

And in a flash, he lets a blast shoot out that creates a rather large hole, dirt, grass and snow flying every which way.]

You can go ahead and climb in there now or I can put you in it. Your choice.

Oi, I have a better idea! Gear Third!

[He bites into his thumb and blows air into his rubber body giving him the arm and fist of a giant (~~Don't ask how rubber bodies work~~). And then he's going to transfer that air into his leg which he lifts up high before slamming hard into the ground creating his own crator! You see that Vegeta? It's smaller, and it took four times the amount of effort and was four times slower, but he did the same thing you did!!!]

You get in THAT hole before I put you in! [And after doing that one liner he's going to expel the air and get in a fighting position!]

[He glances down at the hole created by the...stretchy...thing....standing before him. If that wasn't the most ridiculous thing he has ever seen in his life, he doesn't know what else is.]

What are you, from a Saturday morning cartoon? What are you going to do now, drop an anvil on me? [His kids watched crap like that when they were little.]

Shishishi! My fists are way stronger than any anvil!

[Luffy gets in a crouching position and pushes down on his knees which causes a huge clump of blood to form at his ankles. And when he releases them, the blood goes flowing through his body kind of like doping. This increases his body temperature so much that his skin turns a pink-ish color and the sweat that forms instantly turns to steam (~~don't ask how rubber bodies work.)~~.

This is probably another most ridiculous thing Vegeta has seen.]

Gomu Gomu noooo!! [And with a speed that's a little slower than the blink of an eye (due to Luceti's power cap), he's in Vegeta's face and aiming a fist at him.]

JET PISTOL!!! [This is a fancy way of saying he's going to try to punch Vegeta in the face really fast.]

[He inspects Luffy as he gets his move ready, making note of how the boy's body works and what he has to do to prepare attacks. He's gotta be fighting some weird incarnate of Majin Buu from another universe at this point. He can't reason it out any other way. It's weird. And there here it comes, the attack he'd been counting on.

A hand flies up to try to catch Luffy's own fist, turning his body sideways so he can ready another block with his other hand to protect his midsection and head- he wonders how much this boy knew of their kind from Kakarot. Guess he'll wait and see.]

[Wow, he does not like this. This reminds him almost exactly like his fight with Goku. But the rubber captain is more obstinate than anyone so there's no way he'll back down! Vegeta has actually been predicting him pretty well so far since the next thing he's going to do is a punch with his other hand which Vegeta is already more than prepared to block.

This isn't working. From how these guys fight it seems like there's a big gap in power and experience. He's going to have to be different if he wants to keep up.

Different....

The next follow up move is going to be Luffy rushing his head forward as if he's trying to head butt the prince, but instead he opens his mouth impossibly wide thanks to his rubber ability and... tries to basically bite his whole face off. Congrats Vegeta, you are fighting Luffy.]

[That was not something he was expecting, not at all. His eyes go wide in surprise and there's really only one thing he can do to keep his head from being bit off by this strange rubbery kid.

HOLY CRAP MOVE

So that's what he does, letting go of the grip he has on Luffy's hand and jetting backwards, solutions to take care of this running through his mind even as he moves.

Based on what he's seen, he's almost expecting Luffy's face to chase after him as he flies backwards...]

[HE ACTUALLY MOVED BACK!? Luffy knew he had gotten stronger, no doubt! He just has to keep the pressure up!

And Vegeta is right in assuming that. Because as soon as he starts to fly back, Luffy stretches his head to follow after him! CHOMP CHOMP CHOMP CHOMP!!]

[HE KNEW IT this darned rubber kid what's his deal

His palm comes up and energy forms in it-!]

Here! Eat this! [LETS THE BLAST GO AIMED RIGHT INTO LUFFY'S MOUTH]

[UNFORTUNATELY LUFFY WAS MID CHOMP. So it actually does go directly into his mouth and explodes in it causing his head to expand for a brief moment like a cartoon would. Luckily he's okay for the most part but the surprise causes him to go stumbling back as he coughs up smoke.

That was such a d-bag move Vegeta!]

[He stops, landing and taking his own fighting stance. Well then. Interesting. This definitely reminds him of Buu now. And the only way to really beat him is either to beat him so senseless that he doesn't have any energy anymore or completely disintegrate him.

Stupid kid, what a pain-! He thinks as he rushes in, and aims a kick to Luffy's head to send it flying through a bunch of trees...knowing full well that all that will happen is that the neck will stretch as far as it needs to, as what's been happening already.

But maybe...]

[Well he's definitely right about that! With a normal person that probably would have knocked his head clean off, but with his rubbery powers, it causes his head to get sent back. Way back. Like waaaay back.

It travels a fairly large distance before it finally stops. BUT NOW FOR THE COUNTER ATTACK! He begins to retract his neck and tries to bring his head in for a headbutt. A real one this time!]

[HERE IT COMES oh boy. That's definitely a head snapping back at him and it looks like it might hurt a bit. It's also traveling pretty fast. A lot faster than he thought it was going to-

That thought gets cut off as Luffy's head slams right into him, sending him flying through trees, snapping right in half as he decimates quite a few before he can stop himself in midair.

OKAY THAT HURT. This kid's head is almost as hard as Kakarot's-!]

Gomu Gomu no!!!

[And Luffy is RUSHING towards Vegeta as fast as he can to try to do a follow up attack to the headbutt. He knows he might not get another opportunity to hit him, the guy is way too fast! Vegeta might notice Luffy's fist stretching way back and turns a black shiny color before actually igniting ON FIRE! He's going to try and punch Vegeta in the stomach with this!]

RED HAWK!!! [He's essentially doing this!]

[Finally managing to stop himself, it's only a split second before Luffy comes in with his attack, slamming Vegeta in the stomach and sending him flying once again. He travels quite a distance away, arcing through the air before finally coming down and slamming into the ground, sending dirt, snow and anything else in the area soaring high up into the air with the impact.

Dirt and dust create a thick cloud around the area, and with sight alone one wouldn't be able to tell if anything is moving. It floats around the small crater in the ground, but even so, inside of the cloud, a hand moves and pushes himself up...]

[Instincts tells Luffy he should follow up again, but he decides against it, instead taking a moment to catch his breath a little. It wasn't like this was a fight to the death (maybe).]

Phew. I put everything I had into that punch too, but I bet he's not down yet. Dammit, these saiyan guys are ridiculous. He hasn't even powered up once...

[He yells to the cloud of dirt and dust Vegeta is in.]

OI! YOU GOING "SUPER" IN THERE, BASTARD?

[He raises an eyebrow, irritated that it seemed that Luffy already knew about the transformation...how annoying, he was going to save that for later if he had to use it. He'll blame Kakarot for that one, since it seemed this boy knew him. He doesn't answer the question, but rather, starts cackling as his form starts to materialize from the cloud.]

Well, well, I must say, I'm impressed. I haven't met too many around here who can pack a punch quite like that. [He stops a ways from Luffy, now completely visible.]

I've fought someone like you before. [Not talking about how Vegeta totally got his ass kicked by that someone.] So I certainly hope that isn't all you've got. Because now, I'm going to make you pay for that little attack of yours.

[And then...he vanishes! He's moved to get behind Luffy.]

...it's not good enough! It's been years since me and Goku fought. [Well. In Luceti time. Technically. He went home for a while too.] If I'm still not good enough to push you guys... then I need even more training than I thought!!

[This fight was more than just Vegeta being a big jerk face! He wanted to see if he had managed to catch up with people from Goku's world or not! And the answer was that, well, he was still lagging pretty far behind. People always call him a monster as far as strength goes, but these guys are actually real monsters.]

You fought a rubberman...??? [That's actually really surprising. He could've sworn he was like the only one!! Anyway he doesn't have the time to think much about it as Vegeta is soon rushing him down. The thing about Haki is that Luffy can actually sense the physical movements Vegeta is going to do. But the guy is so fast he can still only barely keep up with him despite it.

If the Prince is observant he might notice this, because despite being much slower, Luffy is already in the process of trying to turn around to prepare to block any attack Vegeta might throw at him. Unfortunately he'll still just be a bit too slow to really defend himself against anything he'll throw out.]
