[Voice/Action]: Friends need to stop getting owned

[Well after everything that has been happening as of late, Luffy has been thinking. A lot. Well maybe not a LOT LOT cause thinking too much would give him a fever, but ya know. A moderate amount. And while he wants to get stronger to protect everyone and free everyone from this prison, he can’t seem to do that without his friends getting hurt, or beat up. He can’t possibly watch all of them all the time. And if he could, he couldn't train.

Normally what he would do is just beat up the main bad guy, but here there are a lot of main bad guys. And they can teleport away. He can't kick their asses if they do that. While a good piece of his friends are fighters, the rest just kinda aren't. Or altleast not strong enough to fight against any of the opponents that he's faced here. He flips open his journal and starts to make an entry.

Oh, Luffy is on top of Community Building 6 too by the way. No particular reason, aside from the fact that it's not a lot of stuff there and not too many buildings and all that. Luffy can't think at all with distractions.]

[Jay can actually sort of relate to this question. Back home, he always felt like he had to protect the Oresoren, but there were quite a lot of them to protect. Although he had come to realize the Oresoren's own strength, he still didn't want any harm to come to them.]

It's true that you can't watch them all the time. You'll just need to believe in your friends' own strength.

It's...hard to protect all of your friends. Especially by yourself.

But, if you have help, it's easier. If you can't do it alone, your friends could probably help and protect each other, 'specially if there's a lot of them.

I always fight the really strong guys, but most of them can fight. The bad guys here always teleport away though, so I can't kick their ass like I want to. And then they try to fight my other nakama.

I don't think it's possible to protect everyone all the time. The best you can do is stay alert and focus on those who need it most. If your friends can help watch each other's backs, all the better.

You just do the best you can, no matter what. No person is perfect, and failure is always a possiblity, but you can't let it get to you. You just have to keep on striving.

By trying your best. But it's not always possible, so the best thing to do is trust that they can take care of themselves to some extent.

I tried that. I trust all my nakama, but-- [there's a big difference between trusting someone and just foolish ambition. You can trust a baby is gonna lift 1,000 pounds but it probably can't do it. In the end, some of his nakama just aren't strong enough to fight some of these guys]

Well all of my really strong nakama should be okay, but the rest of them can't fight some of these guys...
