[So sometime after this Luffy is going to go find his journal and camp out on a branch up in a tree for a bit so he can make an entry. The feed will be a little obscure until he’s actually able to flip the journal around the correct way.]

There we go. Oi, guys! It’s me, I’m back again! And I had the strangest time back home too. I had to fight this weird clown guy and-- ahh, I’ll tell you later! Anyway, did I miss anything? I haven’t been gone for years or something right? [And he let’s out a chuckle.] I can’t imagine how awkward that’d be...

Oh, yeah! So I need some major help with something. How do you enter into school? I want to learn this really cool thing, but I’m gonna need school to do it. I only need to know math and science though. I don’t need all that other stuff, so do I just talk to Raine, or can I walk in one day?

[And with that, he'll close the journal and wait for replies! If anyone needs him, he's going to be at the dressing room for a while so he can get his clothes back! And after that point he's going to walk back to the Strawhat house, so feel free to catch him at any point!]

[When did you get here? The feed suddenly cutting off surprises him though. Did she just get here? Maybe she was too scared to talk to him? Siiiigh. He better go find her before she freaks out too much

He's going to search throughout the town looking for her. He's using Haki, but he's not sure if he's going to actually NEED it or not. Giant mermaid and all. If that doesn't work he'll check the beach to see if she's in the ocean since the village might be too tiny for her. Then again he doesn't know about her smaller form.]]

[Rubbing his chin as he counts them on his fingers.]

There's been... Naruto, Sasuke, Hinata, this other ninja guy that used to stay here. I'm not sure if I asked the other other ninja guy who used to stay here, but I think I did. And then there was you. I think that's it. But Hinata was the only one nice enough to help. I can tell from that that she's a really nice person.

Shishishi! Like going to the New World! I finally made it!

I dunno. Sokka told me about it. He said I need to learn math and science first though.

[Yeeaahhh out of that list, she figures only Hinata will. She snorts. She doesn't even want to know who that other other ninja guy was.]

Yeah, well, Hinata's too kind to refuse almost anyone. [Idiots or not.] And she's capable enough to tutor you if you're so eager. [Yes, sorry, Hinata. She's gonna bail out on this.]

[Those few words just made Ace far happier than he ever thought he could be. He made it. He always knew Luffy would make it, but to be able to hear that is the biggest relief in the world. And actually hearing it from his little brother made him so unbelievably proud. But at the same time, it's bittersweet. He can only ever hear about this stuff when Luffy leaves, and then comes back. It's a little saddening to know he'll only ever hear about it, and not actually see it. But that's the way things are now, and being able to at least know about it means something.] That's great, Luffy! I knew you'd make it! I'm so damn proud of you!

[He could say a lot more, but that's enough gushing for now. AND THEN THERE'S THE. MEAT THING.] Maybe you should ask him more about how you can do stuff to meat.

She already tried and it didn't work! She said I might not have talent for it, but it doesn't matter! I did it when I went to you guys' world so I think I can definitely do it now!

[Miyabi's acytually exploring the forest for a change of pace, picking wild herbs and berries and the occasional mushroom after some very close examination. Sure she could plant her own easily, but she hasn't been in the forest for a while. It's good to feel the dirt and brush under her bare feet once in a while. She'd go for a run, too, if she wasn't doing what she was.

Hearing the voice from above makes her stop though, and she looks up. That voice was oddly familiar and maybe, possibly could have been--]

Luffy! [DROPPING EVERYTHING. And proceeding to try and climb up to where he is.] You came back!

[Oh mother of god, no. No, no, no--not you. Others may be glad to have you back, but Perona isn't one of them. Debt to you and your stinking crew or not, she's better off not involving herself with you people at all. SIGH.]

Mmmhrrmm...it's going to get loud again. What a ruckus you're already making, Straw Hat boy.

[Vash is sitting outside the Trigun house when he see's Luffy coming up the path.

Okay, time for a little fun.]

Hey you! You young whipper snapper! Get off my lawn! [Not that Luffy is on his yard, but Vash wouldn't be happy being turned old and not getting to say that to SOMEONE!]

[She'll be waiting kind of by the teleporter, since she can't bring herself to open up the journal again, but hopes he'll come looking for her. If he knows her, he'll come, right? It's the most obvious place for a mermaid...

As time passes, though, she starts to lose hope. He probably doesn't remember her. She gulps air like a backwards hiccup, feeling her body ramping up for a cry and fighting it by trying to relax. It's okay, right? Like Robin-sama said, they can just get to know each other all over again. This time she won't be as big of a crybaby, so maybe he won't call her Coward.

But then he also wouldn't call her Weakahoshi, and she'd earned that, strange as it was.

Shirahoshi fiddles with her journal a little, trying to distract herself, then gives the beach one last glance each direction. She sighs, dejected, and turns to slip back into the ocean waves.]

Oh, was it... nice? [He has no idea how to respond to this situation.]

It's a test that has all three of the subjects and sees how good you are in all of them. It's pretty tough but that's how they pick what classes you get in.

[Puffs up his feathery little chest.]

I was trying to fly! You wanna fight? I'll peck you!

[Small distracted pause.] Your hat looks familiar, yoi. But you don't have a mustache like Daddy's. Are you a fanboy?

Hey, you're back-- [Wait. Something stands out from the normal things that Luffy would say. It's absolutely weird and something he thought he would never hear Luffy say. Ever.

[He doesn't care about the time--Luffy, this is too loud and the Thief wants to punch you for leaving so soon after Pops...

But, realistically, he wants to continue dozing on his monstrous squid plush.

Lupin flips on the feed without regret, intending on getting a little quiet.]

Two questions.

One: What kind of science are you looking for?

Two: Do you even have an off button???

[Whenever it is that Luffy wends his way back to House 6, he'll see Vivi sitting in the grass under the shade of a tree in the front lawn, a book on her lap. As a matter of fact, she's dozing, though lightly. It won't take much to wake her.]

[She doesn't believe Hinata will say something like that, so she re-words it.]

Maybe it's because you're not a ninja anymore that's why it didn't work. What happened before when you went to our world was a Shift and nothing else.

Eh...? I don't think anyone did. [He probably wouldn't put much hope on Luffy coming back again anyway. For now, he's going to give Luffy one last squeeze before scrambling to his feet, still grinning.] And hey, you're a guy again! That's good. [Laughs.] You make one creepy girl!

[It's odd; suddenly hearing Luffy's voice doesn't elicit a surge of joy like Sanji might've expected, though he's quick to tear open his journal for a closer look. Whatever he's feeling is more a quiet sort of gratefulness - and maybe an expectation. Luffy's been a resident of Luceti for so long, it only makes sense he'd come back somehow for his crew, whether or not by his own choice.

Terrible assumption to make, that, but Sanji won't give a shit right now. He grins all the same.

... And then runs that last part through his head again. Um. Hold the phone.]

School?

Shishishi! I know I know, but relax, it's not an experiment or anything. I actually want to go for real!

[Oh yeah! Now that he thinks about it, with the whole changing of his gender thing, he had forgotten to mention it before!]

[Aww, she's sleeping! Whelp, he doesn't want to wake her. but he IS curious about that book. He doesn't really care to read it, just interested in what she's reading. So a rubbery hand might be coming up to grab at it.]

Well he wasn't the first clown I fought, but I haven't fought that other guy in years.

This clown though was a lot stronger. He ate some kind of weird Gas fruit. I was still kicking his ass though until I suddenly couldn't breathe.
